Technical Visit
Exploring an interesting subsurface infrastructure

There is a unique opportunity to view parts of the technical equipment of the Koralmtunnel!

Koralmtunnel
The Koralmtunnel is a railway tunnel under construction. After its completion at the end of 2025, it will be the longest railway tunnel in Austria with a length of 32.9 km. It is operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and connects the two federal states of Styria and Carinthia.

Railway Equipment in the Koralmtunnel
There is an opportunity to visit the newly built Weststeiermark train station and the Leibenfeld ventilation center. The ventilation center is a shaft structure and has two large axial fans that supply the Koralmtunnel with fresh air in the event of a fire.

Do not miss this unique opportunity!
